With a population of 2 milion inhabitants, Medan is the capital of North Sumatra and the third largest city in Indonesia. This city has been able to preserve part of its heritage as shown by colonial buildings, a lovely palace, a mosque and numerous fascinating temples, markets and ethnic quarters. The city of Medan is distant 25 km from the port of Belawan corresponding to 30 to 45 minutes drive.
